Gimp and Photoshop??

Hey whats the difference between photoshop and the Gimp?? And whats the difference between Adobe photoshop and HP photoshop?? Do they all do the same things?? Which one's better?? Worse??

Gimp and Photoshop??free antivirus download

GIMP is a very powerful application, originally designed for professionals. Photoshop has nearly as many functions and runs on nearly as many platforms. Photoshop is quite possibly the best for people that are used to using it or that need compatibility with service bureaus or Adobe programs and proprietary hardware ...that want an easy to use, consumer product and so on...

GIMP will do most of things anyone needs %26#123;Including people like ILM, Silicon Graphics, Sony Film, and many large and very professional companies. People with huge computer grids and clusters and so on...%26#125; You might want to look into this version if you're interested in doing motion stuff %26#123;or... you're a professional photographer%26#125;:

If you don't know either program and are willing to spend a bit of time learning either one... GIMP's a damned good bet. Of course, none of your friends will know a lot about it and everyone will keep trying to convince you that it's an inferior product.

...

Assuming HP Photoshop is something that shipped with your printer or camera... It's probably a cut down version of the original, though... if you spent a lot on the printer or camera... you may have the full version.
