Photoshop help PLEEEAAASEEE?

okay so i need help with photoshop please!! how do i do that cool effect where a picture is all black and white (or grayscale or whatever) except for like one color!!! its really really cool and how do i do it?!?!?!1 pleaaaase. im like a totally photoshop bumm. and also how do i like change skin colors and stuff. like if i have this picture of me except its sunburnt, how can i get rid of those marks or whatever or like make my skin look all normal and stuff?

As far as the sunburn on your arm, there are a few ways. You can use a healing brush (as long as you have exposed skin that is of the color you desire) and use that on your sunburns. Or there is always the play around method with blending options, such as color overlay.

You are talking about Duotones

(Duotones are printed using a colored ink for the highlight color). In Duotone mode, you do not have direct access to the individual image channels (as in RGB, CMYK, and Lab modes). Instead, you manipulate the channels through the curves in the Duotone Options dialog box.
