Photoshop- How do you send a picture back?

I have photoshop CS3.



I have a picture and I added in an extra person with photoshop.Now, I need this person behind the other so it looks like this person is standing behind the other.



Please Help!

You will have to use the marquee tool to outline around the other person, and cut him out, and paste him in front of the other guy....

You may want to use layers. This requires that person you added is still on his or her own layer. Make sure your layers palette is open. You should see at least two layers, one is the original pic, the top one has the person you added.



Now, drag the layer thumbnail of the original down to the bottom of the layers palette over the icon that looks like a square page with a corner turned. That's your New Layer button, and what you are doing is copying the original layer.



In the layers palette, grab that copy of the original and drag it to the top, so it is the first layer. You should now have sort of a layer sandwich as follows (top to bottom): Original layer copy (it will say whatever the name of the layer is with ''copy'' after it), the layer with the new person, and the original layer on the bottom.
